Inscribed by author on front endpaper to Julian Johnson, head of the story department at 20th Century-Fox. Endpapers toned, dents on top page edges, jacket has large chips to top edges and smaller chips and tears to bottom edge with spine and top edge sunned. Novel set in Java that interlaces the folklore of the Javanese people with the story of the young protagonist. Jacket design by George Salter. (8-1/4"x5-5/8")
