Printed on China clay paper, with numerous illustrations and illuminated text. Paper wraps clean and a little nicked at edges. Prelims have a 6cm closed tear in the gutter. Pages clean throughout. Colour illustrations are stunning, with some foxing to rear of plates. Colour plates have a tissue guard to prevent offsetting. In all, in VERY GOOD clean condition - surprisingly so with such a delicate paper binding.
