Pagination is continuous through the issues, and wrappers are included in the pagination. A few issues had supplemental illustrations where noted below (and not included in pagination). Includes Vol 5, No 1 through Vol V, no 10 complete. Individual issues are creased (from mailing). Issues have instititutional stamps front wrapper. The volume was withdrawn from the Air University Library Maxwell Air Force Base Alabama, and stamped surplus LOC on the second flyleaf. The journal's name changed with the second issue in this volume from Journal of Photography of the George Eastman House TO Journal of Photography and Motion Pictures of the George Eastman House. The May issue has an extra illustration leaf after the table of contents. The June issue contains a color reproduction of a Lippman plate, the first ever published as far as the writers knew. The Sept issue has an extra plate. Cloth. An important publication interested in "tracing the development of photography." Includes both original articles and reprints of articles from various scientific journals. Early photography, film, and other related topics are reported on. Publication normally ceased in the summer, with Jul-Aug not published.
