Cambridge University Press 1996 1st ed. large 8vo pp288 bw illustrations notes index ( ex-lib. ) VG-(text is VG+)/VG+ A work by a biologist and a moral philosopher, both UK university academic staff. Reiss was Vice-President of the Institute of Biology. Ex Cumbria County Libraries withdrawn stamped, with front endpaper removed at library. Book would be VG+, but for librarian tearing out the front endpaper, so VG- overall. Still a nice copy.
