Synopsis
Susan Musgrave was raised on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. She has published over twenty books, including books of poetry, children’s books, novels, and collections of humorous essays. She has been shortlisted for the Governor General’s Award and for the Stephen Leacock Award. In 1996, she won the CBC/Tilden Canadian Literary Award for Poetry, and the Vicky Metcalf Short Story Editor's Award. She was Chair of the Writers' Union of Canada in 1997-98. In the spring of 1999, she and her husband, Stephen Reid, were the subject of the documentary "The Poet and The Bandit," produced for the CBC-TV program Life and Times . Susan Musgrave lives in Sidney, British Columbia.
