About This Item

Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A.: F. W. Faxon Co., 1952. First Edition First Printing . Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. Designed to complement & expand on the information in the 2nd edition of the original Index, these 2 supplements contain title & subject lists, alphabetically arranged, with extensive cross-referencing. Also includes a "Geographical and Racial List" that identifies stories by country of origin or ethnicity of characters. An invaluable guide! In publisher's red cloth with gilt lettering to spine, these are both First Editions, first printings from 1952. Both are ex-lib, with minimal markings to front matter only; NO card pockets, no exterior stamps to page edges, faded call numbers to spine. Condition is solidly Good: substantial edgewear, spine fading, bumped corners & rubbing. Interior is very clean, with the occasional spot. Bindings secure & straight; pages off-white with mild tanning around edges. No DJs. Our photos depict the exact book you will receive, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have! Same day shipping if ordered by 2 pm weekdays (Pacific); later orders, weekends & holidays ship very next day. SORRY: too large for expedited domestic or international shipping without preapproval of extra postage (at least double per USPS rates).
