London: Printed for W. Wood, 1825. First edition. Hardcover. Fine. 8vo. viii, 188, (2)pp. With 2300 Figures. Thirty-eight full page plates of shell in two states: One hand-colored followed by one uncolored. Contemporary full long grained red leather. Spine in five compartments with raised bands; two with gilt titles and the remainder tooled in gilt. Boards tooled in gilt and blind. All edges gilt. Gilt inner dentelles. Marbled endpapers. With the bookplate of Wm. Strong, an engraved lion's paw. Trace of soil to the leather else a fine copy.
