This copy is lacking the fold-out "Ethnographic Tableau". The other chart "Illustrative of the Geographical distribution of Monkeys, in their relation to that of some Inferior Types of Men." and all 9 plates are present. Many other in-text illustration. This is the "regular paper ediiton". Rubbing to outer hinges and edges of boards. Scattered foxing throughout. One of "the most egregiously racist publications in the history of physical anthropology." Reference: Jeremy Norman's History of Medicine and Life Sciences #8825.
