Hartford, CT: American Publishing Company, 1870. Leather. 651p. REBOUND. A hardcover book rebound in modern brown leather with new endpapers. Comes in a matching slipcase. Dampstaining along top and bottom edges of all pages. Foxing, smudges, and other small blemishes scattered throughout. Browning and edgewear along the side of pages 33-34 and 47-48. Otherwise, text unmarked and binding tight. A sturdy copy in very good condition as a whole. An early printing of this Twain title. Illustrated with numerous black and white engravings.
