London: Adam and Charles Black, 1909. Described by Cecil Headlam. Painted by Gordon Home. 20 painted images each with tissue guard and fold-out map on back inside cover. 211 pages with index. Red decorative cloth covers with gilt lettering and images on front cover and spine. Cover corners are bumped and edges rubbed, scuffing and some water spots on cover faces. Spine is darkened from sun exposure, spine ends are bent and starting to fray. Gilt top page edge. Previous owner's name written on top of title page. Browning and foxing throughout interior, in some places heavy, but text is not affected. Interior tight. Book in Good+ condition.. Cloth. Good+. Illus. by Painted by Gordon Home. Size: Approx. 6 1/4" x 9". England.
