INSCRIBED to Theodore Weiss on the front end paper: 11/18/91: For Ted -- Best regards, Leonard. The recipient, Theodore Weiss (1916-2003), was a poet, literary critic, and professor at Princeton University. A typewritten letter from Schwartz to Weiss is laid in.
This collection contains poems that originally appeared in Objects of Thought, Attempts at Speech (Gnosis Press, 1990) and in Exiles-Ends (Red Dust Press, 1990). The poems appear in the original English with side-by-side translation into Chinese by Dr. I-Min Hao.
