1934. unbound. Sepia tone, 14 x 10.5 inches, with the photographer's signature and date in white in the lower right corner, mounted on cardboard, no place, 1934. This photo of the American operatic soprano, in the role of Gilda in Verdi's Rigoletto, is inscribed to New York City Police Commissioner Joseph Schulz: "To Mr. J. Schultz [sic] with my very best wishes Jean Tennyson 1934." Near fine.
