With an additional engraved title page, numerous engraved illustrations in the text, and two final leaves of publisher's advertisements. Original publisher's green cloth, stamped in gilt and blind. A trifle rubbed and marked, spine lightly sunned. Near contemporary inked gift inscription to verso of FFEP. The first edition of an anonymous entomological survey, issued under the direction of the Committee of General Literature and Education, of material producing insects, including, inter alia, the silkworm, the spider, the cochineal, and the hive-bee. . First edition. 8vo.

Antiquates Ltd was established by Tom Lintern-Mole in 2007; we travel far and wide to buy, sell, and advise on rare books and manuscripts.
