London : The Scientific Book Club, 1957. Book Club Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. The Scientific Book Club edition first printing. Hardback book is tight clean and square. Boards sharp and clean. Text block clean, with light toning to edges. The pages are crisp and unblemished. Previous owners pencil date Dec 57 to FEP. Feels gently read. Lightly bumped spine ends. Very good condition. Jacket reasonably tidy, with some split to top of front joint, and foot of rear joint. Rubs to corners, rear panel has a triangular loss to top edge of rear panel. Spine has light toning but panels have very bold colour. Overall a very good copy. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described. A solid example of this Asimov title, published by The Scientific Book Club and the only UK hardback issue.
