New York: Abrams, 2011. This is a fine hardcover copy without dust jacket as issued, with no wear at all. Completely clean. This monograph was prepared to coincide with the exhibition in Russia at the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts, Moscow, from April 26 to July 24, 2011. Curator Florence Muller wrote the text. Contributions also by Caroline Bongrand. Christian Dior initially went to Russia in 1959 to introduce Russian, especially Muscovite society to his 'New Look' as Carmel Snow had described it. This was a complete commercial success as Dior brought with him the first of his soon to be famous perfumes and his twelve most ravishing models. Illustrated in both color and black & white, with occasional small booklets bound in, fold-outs, different types of paper, etc. 13" high X 10" wide, 327 pages. Large heavy book, foreign shipping will be extra. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Fine.
