Illustrations and plates are bright and clear, with some light tanning and foxing to edges. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Slight crushing to spine ends. Stain to front board. Gilt lettering is bright and clear.

Slight crinkling to paper at gutters, however binding remains firm. Front free endpaper. Water marks throughout, heavier to pastedowns. Plates are moderately tanned with some foxing and water staining. Thumb-marking present throughout. Boards have visible edge wear with corner bumping. Water marks to all surfaces with bubbling to board. Lamination is coming off. Noticeable black marks all over. Book is warped.
