Synopsis
S.C. Reznikoff , CSI, is professor of interior architecture in the Department of Design, College of Architecture and Environmental Design at Arizona State University, Tempe, and a national expert on topics of flammability and life safety in interior design. In 1960 Reznikoff founded Louisiana Interior Design Institute and served as director until 1983. Specifications for Commercial Interiors: Professional Liabilities, Regulations, and Performance Criteria (Whitney Library of Design, 1979) established Reznikoff as a leader in the field and helped define interior design as a professional discipline. In 1986 Reznikoff, who is active in CSI, ASID, IBD, and NFPA, was awarded ASID's coveted Human Environment Award.
