Contents include international news (the Russo-Turkish War); fiction: The Arundel Motto by Mary Cecil Hay, and Lost and Won: A Sea Sketch by Roger Starbuck; a sermon by C. H. Spurgeon; advice for the farm, garden, and household; the song Just Touch the Harp Gently, My Pretty Louise by Charles Blamphin with keyboard accompaniment. Very scarce. In Good- Condition: dampstaining along gutter; loss at corners of first leaf, with closed tear of 4 cm. from gutter; chipping at edges; discoloration along edges of last page (music).
