London: Longmans, Green, 1938. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Good/Fair. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. True first edition first printing Hardback. The author's own copy: signed by him and with some corrections/annotations in pencil in his hand. Most other copies of this book were lost when Longmans bookstore was destroyed by a bomb in the second world war and was not subsequently republished until 1958 by Dover Publications x + 136 Good condition in fair unclipped dust jacket which has lost the spine backstrip (front, back and both flaps remain). No other copies available on line at time of listing.
