From a set of six volumes, the research for which was conducted at McGill University. Printed upon high-quality coated paper. Numerous fold-out illustrations, maps and tables. Wonderful 7 panel black and white fold-out frontis presents a panoramic view of Dominion colliery No. 2, Dominion Coal Co., Glace Bay, N.S. Many other excellent archival black and white photographic plates. Gilt lettering mostly worn from spine. Back hinge open. Ink stamp upon front free endpaper. No other markings evident. Average wear. A wonderful reference to the days when coal was king in Canada..
