Published by the Author, no date Hardcover book x 2, with dust jacket. The authors personal memories of the railroad from childhood through his time as an engineman. Book Vol 1 covering the story of the authors encounters from 1944 in Kansas, the second volume being specific memories. Both volumes unpaginated but well over 1,000 pages in tota,l plus many photographs throughout both volumes. Text in authors own hand and all photographs, except 2, by the author. Vol 1 is copy 240 of 1,000. Vol 2 is copy 240 of 1,000 and has authors signature in ink. Black covers have some minor age marks, fep to vol 1 has a few marks. Photographic dust jackets have some rubbing to all folds and light edgewear but fronts are clear and bright. Loss to spine heads with heavy creasing and rubbing. Now in protective sleeves. Very good in Very Good dust jacket.
