Worcester, MA: Isaiah Thomas, Jr., [1802]. Original Wrappers. 12mo. [48] pp. As issued in stitched self-wrappers--stitching is broken and binding is now fastened by an early sewing pen; large closed tear to the front cover. Paper is toned but supple; cover is foxed; expected wear to the untrimmed pages edges. A reasonably nice copy of an early almanac by one of America's most important printing houses. Woodcut on the front wrapper and occasionally throughout. Contains a reprinting of the Declaration of Independence; woodcut, “The Anatomy of Man’s Body,” and “Road to the principal towns on the continent, &c. from Boston, with the names of Innkeepers.” Shaw & Shoemaker 2457.

Description:
Worcester: Author, 1802. Paper Back. Fair. 12mo in printed wraps, 48pp, vignettes on the cover and page 2, and at the top of 11 other leaves. Moderately toned, shallow chipping along the bottom and foredges, scattered light foxing, a darker spot on the cover at the title, large chip from the bottom edge of the cover. The original stitching is intact, but a previous collector has sewn the book onto a piece of card stock.
