First edition of this revised classic, inscribed and signed by the author in ink with a charming sketch of a whale and sea serpent on the front free endpaper. Illustrated with black and white photos. Blue cloth with white titling on the spine. Light edge wear and edge fading on the covers and spine, bumped spine ends, minor stains on text edges, otherwise Very Good. Pages are clean and unmarked, and the binding is tight. Dust jacket has light wear and short tears around the edges, is price clipped and is Very Good in a clear protector. First Edition. Jacket Condition: Very Good. Size: 8vo - over 7 3/4 in - 9 3/4 in Tall. Year: 1971.
