Inscribed by the author: "To Anna Laird Butler co-author and friend whom I admire so much with all good wishes. Sincerely, Bobbie. Dr. J. Ida Jiggetts. Oct 10, 1957". Written by a black North Carolina Protestant with a Masters degree from N.Y.U. and whose father was a Presiding Elder in the A.M.E. Church. she was the first African-American to study in Israel after it became a state. A very nice copy.
