There are colour frontispeice plates to all volumes. Ex-library with previous library bookplate to the front and rear paste downs and ex-library stamps to the reverse of the title pages. There is a small biro tick mark to the top corner of the front end papers. Slight dust soiling to the fore edges and slight wrinkling to the half title pages. All volumes are clean and tight. All wrappers are protected in a library plastic sleeve which has been afixed to the paste downs with sellotape. Light fading to the spines of the wrappers and to the adjacent edges of the front and rear panels. There is a small ex-library sticker to the tail of the spines of all wrappers. A few slight niks to the head of the spine of the wrappers and a short 0.5 cm tear to the rear panel of the wrapper of Volume III. Volume III also has a little creasing to the lower corner of the front panel of the wrapper. No loss to any of the wrappers - due to the library sleeves. A very good , clean, tight set, which despite being ex-library is still attractive.
