Front hinge is slightly cracked and rear hinge is severely cracked; both boards are loose. Pages are moderately tanned. Previous owner's plate stuck to front pastedown. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and noticeable rubbing to surfaces.Strong tanning to spine and edges. Mild crushing to spine ends causing cloth to fray.
Synopsis
Written in 1820, Sir Walter Scott's Ivanhoe is the tale of the son of Saxon nobility who fought Crusades with King Richard. As he is in disgrace from his family, he returns disguised to England and proceeds to find love, lose love, rescue damsels, fight in tournaments, and attempting to perform chivalrous acts in pursuit of his one true love.
