Rider Haggard. Popular edition. Second impression. When Allan Quatermain visits Lord Randall, two foreign priests of the White Kendah People come asking for Macumazana, the name he once used among the Africans. Written by Sir Henry Rider Haggard, an English writer of adventure fiction romances set in exotic locations and a pioneer of the lost world literary genre. In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with minor rubbing to the extremities. Light fading to the spine. Original unclipped dust wrapper is also smart with light chipping to the extremities resulting in minor loss to the head and tail of the spine. The odd small closed tear and light sunning to the spine. Closed tears to the joints. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd spot. Light spotting to the endpapers. Contemporary ink inscription to the front endpaper. Very Good
