About This Item
Anacortes, WA: Self Published, 2002. First Edition . Soft cover. Very Good/No Dust Jacket. Copyrighted by the author 1999, and first printed in 2002. 139 pages, soft bound. Along with two typed letters signed by the author, and one photocopy of a letter from Missouri State Senator and Judge Ronald Reed, Jr. The first letter dated 1996 from Sarvis to Reed is a follow up to an oral history interview. The second, a photocopy, from Reed to Sarvis is dated 2002 discussing his thoughts on the book, and Reeds own family history connected to Conran and the Bootheel oligarchy. Finally, a third letter from Sarvis dated only a week later is in response to the conversation and his recollection that it was Reed who introduced him to Bootheel politics. Letters remain Very good to Fine. Although the volume is graded Very Good, the faults including wrinkles in the spine covers and slight discoloration near the edges, appear as publication faults. The book is otherwise Fine.
