Sage coated cloth with gilt, beige and black lettering, illustration and decoration on spine and front cover. Spine, edges and corners bumped. Front and back covers rubbed. Tan endpapers with flower decorative pattern. Front attached endpaper has small sticker on it. Previous owners name on front free endpaper. 7 B/W plates including frontispiece and 5 fold out maps. Clean text block, seperating slightly from spine at middle. A very nice copy. An strong childrens tale accompanied by beatiful illustrations. 1891
