This fragile book is only in fair condition; the backstrip is missing, the boards are detached, and there is some spotting and thumbing of the contents. A rare edition, possibly the first. Undated; COPAC lists only one copy, and estimates a date some time between 1836 and 1847. There is an ownership inscription to the front cover, dated 1845.

About Cornell Books Limited

We are a medium-sized bookshop located in a small country town in the west of England. The shop is open for business from 1030 to 1700 Monday to Saturday. The building is a fifteenth-century former public house. We are still awaiting the day when we find a book older than the shop itself!
