About This Item

Vol 1 has 317 pages and Vol 2, 409 pages. Stated: Of the Limited Edition of Alphonse Daudet one thousand copies have been printed for America. This copy is number 427. No dust jackets.
These two volumes of Daudet's works come in red boards with a paper title information placard at the top of the spine and gold gilting on closed book's top page edge..
Both volumes have lightly worn corners, worn areas at the top and bottom of the spines and worn/faded areas just below the title information on the spines. The gold gilting on the closed book's top page edge remains in very good shape. The interior books, outside of a dirty fingerprint or two and some light page browning, have no visible extraneous human markings or distractions throughout each book and thus all of the printing and illustrations are all in a well-preserved and enjoyable condition. The bindings remain mostly tight, though are beginning to split away.
If you order these classic volumes of French literature from us, they will each be carefully wrapped up, then padded and boxed and mailed right away to you with both tracking and insurance on them and they will come with our genuine gratitude for your order.
