London: James Lillywhite, Frowd & Co, 1884. Hardcover. Near Fine. First edition thus. 12mo. 256pp. Frontispiece albumen photograph of the Surrey Eleven, 1883 tipped in, with the players identified. Illustrated advertisements on verso of title page, on the verso of the preface page, and another on the verso of the contents page. Early, perhaps contemporary, pebbled dark blue cloth(?) gilt. Fine, with some nominal offsetting on the endpapers.
