Three outstanding works by the great Czech modernist pioneer. CONTENTS: In the Mist (1913) is in four movements: Andante, Molto adagio, Andantino, and Presto - here ably performed by pianist Lamar Crowson. Concertino (1925) is also in four movements, scored for piano, clarinet, bassoon, horn, two violins, and viola, featuring hornist Neill Sanders and clarinetist Gervase de Peyer. Mladi ("Youth"; 1924) is a wind sextet: flute, oboe, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, horn, and bass clarinet. CONDITION: A Very Good LP record [not a CD!] in a Very Good jacket (with moderate edge/corner/ring-wear and some underlining/annotations in the Liner Notes). The LP - tested and cleaned before listing - plays beautifully, but with some light-to-moderate surface noise in the Concertino and In the Mist. Mladi has very quiet surfaces. ***A fresh anti-static inner sleeve replaces the plain/blank original - and the jacket is nestled in a clear outer sleeve.
