Bound in blue cloth boards with gilt titles present. Boards have light shelf-wear present to the extremities.. No ownership marks present. Text is clean and free of marks. Binding tight and solid. For any wargamer or modeler, there is no better reference to a period of naval history than "Jane's Fighting Ships". Jane's gives you what the admiralty BELIEVED was the best current information for a period, and was often 'spot on' in their assessments. Jane's gives you photos, line drawings, or artists pictures of the ship classes..together, and with all this information one can model most any ship covered by the books. Jane's has the added bonus of having published in their annuals, selected writings of naval authorities on the latest (for the period) technology and developments in ship-building, armaments, and communications.
