Paris: N.p., 1957. Two original single weight black-and-white press photographs from an anniversary showing of the 1937 French film, circa 1957. Director Renoir is seen with actress Mylene Demongeot, and an image of a neighboring Champs-Elysees drugstore. One photo with film title and Renoir's and Demongeot's names in holograph ink, and numerical notation in holograph pencil, on the verso.

Renoir's film about soldiers during WWI is widely regarded as a masterpiece, and one of Orson Welles' favorite films.

5 x 7 inches. Light curling, else Near Fine.
