Lady Churchill was a beauty, who though lacking personal wealth was comfortable in high society and married Lord Randolph Churchill at age 20. This volume takes up the story at the time of Randolph's death in 1895. Includes a section of black & white photos depicting people and scenes from her later life. --- This full-sized book club edition in full navy cloth-covered boards with titling and decorations in gilt and blue foil to spine and cover; text printed on buff colored leaves. Jacket features a painted portrait of Lady Churchill. --- Volume in nice shape: clean, bright and unmarked.
