What makes this particular cookbook stand out from other Jewish cookbooks is the international flavor. Most Jewish cookbooks hightlight Eastern European cookery, whereas this one features recipes from many countries, including the U.S. and Israel as well, wherever Jewish communities have settled. Also, some of the author's optional suggestions for more traditional recipes are inspired. The book is bound in illustrated boards and a blue-cloth spine with white lettering. The boards show some light edge rubbing. As for the interior, the pages are clean and bright throughout, and the full-color illustrations are mouth-watering.
