The text is on the left side page and a full page, full color illustration is on the right side page. This story is retelling of Perrault's The Fairies. From dust jacket: "Poor Jig. All day she must clean and cook and work for nasty Mrs. Pig and her son Fig, who is an awful pain. But when a wizard casts a magical spell that sends gold and diamonds spilling from her mouth whenever she speaks, Jig's goodness is wonderfully rewarded."
