About This Item
Copyright 1954. Jacketed hardback, jacket as shown with this title is tanned, chipped and scuffed. Green cloth cover stamped on front board and spine. Text block is heavily tanned and is somewhat fragile with a few nicks and chips. Unusually, the title page (as shown) is printed on the verso of the front endpaper. Page 1 (the introduction) is completely detached. Page 144, about the author, states the author's likeness appears on the jack of the jacket - it does not, it list a series of books on outdoor cooking (see photo). Despite it's flaws an interesting and historic copy. Your purchase helps our small public library. pi (O-L4)
