New York/Madison WI: Hudson Hills Press / Madison Art Center, 1993. In the 1980s Dine 'discovered' the Glyptothek, a museum in Münich built in the classical style to house Ludwig of Bavaria's collection of ancient sculpture; Dine spent several winters there drawing the scultures. This book was published to accompany a travelling exhibition of the drawings. Paperback, color covers. Light wear, minor edge damage to a couple pages, ink name on half-title. Text/plates clean; 126 pages; index, bibliography, chronology, color & b/w drawings; three essays.. First Edition. Paperback. Very Good. Illus. by Jim Dine. 9" by 12".
