New York: Viking Press, 1965. 1st. Cloth and Boards. VG-/VG-. Octavo. Signed by Joseph Mitchell boldly on title page. Joe Gould was a legendary Greenwich Village Bohemian and bum. Made into a noted movie in 2000. Book is water stained on the top edge with foxing to front and rear endpapers. Dust jacket shows slight appearance of previous dampness but still not a bad copy.
