London: The Fine Art Society, 2014. Book. Very Good. Soft cover. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Softcover. Condition: Very good, with very light shelfwear to covers. Binding sound. This catalogue was deacessioned from the library of the art dealer Offer Waterman and Co. and bears a discreet circular blindstamp hand-numbered in the centre to the lower right of the half-title page. 96pp. Many colour illustrations. The price list for the exhibition is loosely inserted. This catalogue was produced to accompany the exhibition of various items of "Modern English" design from the 1860s and 1870s from the John Scott Collection held at the Fine Art Society, London from 11 June to 3 July 2014. The items included furniture, porcelain and metalwork by designers such as Thomas Jeckyll, Leon Arnoux, Minton & Co., and Christopher Dresser.
