Offered is an original brochure entitled "JOIN A PEOPLE'S LAWSUIT AGAINST NIXON" (1973) published by the Committee to Set Aside the 1972 Election, a project of the National Lawyers Guild, out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A left-folded brochure measuring 7" by 8-1/2" and containing four pages including front and rear covers. No date, although 1973. With a front-cover caricature illustration of Richard M. Nixon surrounded by his cohorts, the brochure begins, "We want you to join a lawsuit to set aside the 1972 Presidential election. The lawsuit would declare the 1972 Presidential and Vice-Presidential election null and void, and request that a new, free and honest election be held." The subheadings are: THE CRIMES (with a list of 14, including Extortion, Perjury, Obstruction of Justice, Forgery, Libel, Violations of state election laws, Burglary, Conspiracy); OUR CASE; WE CAN WIN; Authorization of Legal Counsel (to be mailed in to the Committee; it begins: "I (or our organization) hereby authorize the Committee to Set Aside the 1972 election to act on my/our behalf by doing all things necessary or desirable to carry through this suit including retaining attorneys and receiving any and all notices"). With a Jules Feiffer comic strip to the inside page showing Nixon giving instructions to his cohorts (including "Lefty, you burgle Ellsberg's shrink"; Mugsy, you bug the Watergate"; "Louie, you burn the evidence")..
