Foreword by Judy Taylor. 8vo up to 9½" tall., xxiii+ 468pp. with illustrations; index. Moss green boards with gilt titles. Contents are bright without markings and binding is tight; tiny upper corner fold to pages 405-442, a few pin prick sized dots to upper outer edge; unclipped jacket has light edge wear and is otherwise, fine.
Beatrix Potter's diary, written in code during the years when she was ages 15 to 30; the diary sets out her thoughts and observations of her life in Victorian England.
