n.p.: J. B. Brown, 1935. Wraps. Good +. 8vo. 110 pages. Frontispiece illustration of the "The Barque "Agate." Black paper wraps with title on front cover. Rear hinge is broken. Light edge wear to covers. Interior contents are in fine condition. Inscription "Wythe? R Brown 64" written in blue pen on the front blank end paper. Letters cover the first voyage of Capt. Chas. W. Brown with his father Capt. Jacob B. Brown, Master of the Barque Agate in 1876. Later Charles Brown became Capt. of the vessel. These letters were published for members of the Brown family.
