Dated January 4th, 1915, “I am obliged to you for sending me that Journal. That expedition was an extremely interesting one and I had never seen the Journal in question. Very sincerely yours, [signed in ink] Theodore Roosevelt [typed recipient name and address].” Folded, in the original envelope.
