Illustrator: the Author. bound in original dark green cloth back dark green paper covered boards, with a colour illustrated dust jacket. Previous owner's transparent name sticker at the top right of the front free end page. The dust jacket has a 1 inch split at the bottom of the rear fold over crease, a half inch split at the bottom of the front fold over crease, and rubbing to both top and bottom of the spine section with short tears. illustrated throughout with part in full page colour drawings alongside text by the author. Supposedly a novel to heighten environmental and ecological awareness in children, the book postulates a future where there were no robots or aeroplanes, there weren't even any clothes dryers or petrol lawnmowers, in short a Luddite heaven.
