The front marbled end page starting to loosen. Robert Hoe III (1839-1909), first President of the Grolier Club (morocco bookplate gilt). and the small leather bookplate of C.A. and V. Baldwin front paste down. Virginia Baldwin was an heiress to the Comstock Lode fortune.Facsimile letter bound in at end . An uncommon and elegant book with distinguished provenance. . First Edition. Morocco. Fine. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
