Illustrated dust jacket over red cloth with a black and white illustrated frontis and illustrated plates throughout. Major tanning to pages with pen and pencil inscriptions to front pastedown and endpaper. Distinctive tanning to text block edges and binding is loose. Front hinge is cracked with exposed netting. Boards have minor rubbing and visible bumping to corners. Fair crushing to spine ends. Unclipped jacket with visible edge wear and rubbing. Splitting to joints and visible tearing to corners, edges and spine ends. Major sunning to interior.
