Germany: Hamburg, 1890. Hardbound, x, 619pp, original black cloth backed spine original printed card covers, old library stamp on title page, a VERY GOOD copy of a scarce work. An important scientific library of 10, 660 works, mainly on meterology, hydrography, physics, electricity, and magnetism. The library was founded in 1875 and incorporates the large and fine collection of Heinrich W. Dove (1803-79), one of the greatest meteorologists of the 19th century (see D.S.B.).
